Palm Beach Community College's original campus is also its largest and most versatile. Its facilities include a gymnasium and athletic complex, a theater, a cafeteria, a library learning resources center, a bookstore, and many classrooms and laboratories. The Technology Center, which opened in August 1996, provides hands-on training for a wide range of technology and computer related fields including computer assisted drafting (CAD), graphic design, digital imaging, office systems technology, and computer science. The state-of-the-art center also houses the Center for Personalized Instruction (C.P.I. which offers academic support to students in math, reading, English, computer science and most academic areas. In the seven hundred and twenty seat Watson B. Duncan III Theater audiences enjoy world-renowned professional dance, music, and theater performances as well as presentations by Central Campus music and theater students.
